This contest is simple, to win, just be the first person to give the correct answer to the two-part question below;

Who is the original artist of my user pic and from what work does it come?

I'll give hints later if no gets it.

The winner will receive a beautiful...fractal? Poorly done Okakei? C++ program? A poem? Wow, I'm really scrapping the bottom of the barrel here. Well, if you win, you can probably think of something you need done. AND I'll post a link of your choice...uh, within reason. I've got to be careful or some 'friend' of mine will make me eat my words by making me link to something...well...unpleasant, at the least.

Yes, very much so. Actually, I'm a friend of Schro's. We're both big admirers of yours. We have watched your art page very closely for quite a while now, I just have not had an account until very recently. She's absolutely obsessed with the Major(actually, she has a couple of you pics of him up on her wall). So, nice hear from you.
